Little Shop of Horrors

Batavia High School presents Little Shop of Horrors April 14-16 at 7:30 PM and April 16 at 2:00 PM. 

Seymour Krelbourn is a poor young man working at a run-down flower shop on skid row when he encounters a miracle.  Following a total eclipse of the sun, he discovers an alien plant.  The plant is given the name Audrey II by Seymour, after his true love Audrey.  After bringing Audrey II to the shop, he gains fame, fortune and love.  The only defect is that Audrey II feeds on human blood.  Seymour and Audrey II make a deal that if Audrey II continues to bring Seymour positive attention, Seymour will in turn continue to feed Audrey II human bodies.

This rock musical is a bit of a twisted lighthearted farce that includes several well-known tunes and embraces the styles of Rock and Roll, Doo-Wop and early Motown.

See how this Faustian tale resolves itself at the Batavia High School Cafetorium, on April 14-16.  This will be the final theatrical performance to be held in the Cafetorium.
