2011 Pumpkins For A Cure (PFAC) Schedule of Event

Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011

9 a.m. — Pumpkins For A Cure opens for the day.  Pumpkins and mums for sale.

9 a.m.-4 p.m. — Kids activities, kids raffle, craft table, free give aways for kids.

9:30-10 a.m. — Debbie Notaro, Master Gardener will presents Decorating Containers Using Seasonal Mums and Pumpkins.  FREE Breakfast provided by Great Harvest Bread Company of Geneva.

10-10:30 a.m. — Debbie Notaro, Master Gardener will presents Changing Your Garden to Fall Plants. FREE Breakfast provided by Great Harvest Bread Company of Geneva.

11 a.m.-11:45 a.m. — Jeanie B and The Jelly Beans family music.

12 p.m. — Story time featuring award-winning Geneva teacher Diane Clark.

Noon-4 p.m.

  • Haunted hay ride featuring Donna Latham. 
  • Horse-drawn carriage travels down Third Street making stops throughout downtown Geneva.
  • Professional pumpkin carver Marc Solomon will carve three 75 to 100lb. pumpkins.

 1 p.m.

  • Jesse White Tumblers perform.
  • Face painting.

2 p.m.-4 p.m. — Taste For A Cure. Seven local restaurants will feature a taste of their best pumpkin recipes. Tickets are $5 per person in advance or $10 on-site at the event.

4 p.m.

  • Black Hat contest judging.
  • Pumpkins For A Cure closes for the day.
