Folkstage - Midnight Special Concert Fox Valley Folk Music & Storytelling Festival

The 34th Annual Fox Valley Folk Music & Storytelling Festival officially begins Sunday and ends Monday on Labor Day weekend, but the fun starts on Saturday.

Folkstage - Midnight Special Concert is a live broadcast at 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4. Hosted by WFMT Radio's Rich Warren, the event features festival artists in a live studio concert for WFMT Members that is broadcast for all. Artists will be announced. The Midnight Special airs Saturday nights on 98.7WFMT.

From 6 to 10 p.m., there will be an "Open Mike" opportunity, where musicians can bring instruments and sign up for a slot and audiences can come out and listen to a night of folk music in the pavillion at 
Island Park.
