Earth Day 2012 Healthy Earth | Healthy Community

Earth Day 2012 is an event at which people can bring electronic items, cork, styrofoam, and those plastic cards similar to a hotel key to be recycled; personal papers to be shredded; your bicycle for a tuneup. There will be merchants selling and talking about 'green' items from cleaning products to household items to energy conservation techniques. Families can enjoy games for children; walk through an all electronic vehicle; sample food; walk the trails at Peck Farm; and test your skills on a bicycle challenge course. You can also buy a rain barrel to harvest rain for your garden.
