Brown Bag Program – Guest Speaker on Graphic Design
From Will H. Bradley’s typeface to Rule29 in Geneva, graphic design has become an integral part of communication. In conjunction with a new museum exhibition, In Other Words: A History of Communication in Geneva, Geneva History Center is hosting guest speaker Justin Ahrens, Principal and Creative Director at Rule29, on Tuesday, March 8.. Ahrens will discuss historical aspects of graphic design and their relationship to Geneva and the surrounding areas. He will also highlight Rule29’s work and how they use graphic design as a communication tool to make a local and global impact.
This lecture is part of the Geneva History Center's Brown Bag lecture series and will take place at Noon on Tuesday, March 8. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lunch. Cookies and coffee are provided. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for Geneva History Center members and students.
