A Christmas Carol

GENEVA – The Geneva Underground Playhouse will present a youth production of Charles Dickens "A Christmas Carol" for two weekends beginning Dec. 3 and ending Dec. 12.

The Christmas classic show times and dates are: 7:30 p.m., Fridays, Dec. 3 and 10; 5 p.m. Saturdays, Dec. 4 and 11; and 3 p.m., Sundays Dec. 5 and 12.

Prices are: $15 for adults; $10 for students and seniors 65 and older; and $35 for a family pack, which includes two adult and two child (through high school age) tickets. The shows are at the playhouse, 524 W. State St., the corner of Sixth and State streets, in downtown Geneva.

This is a family show written for young audiences while staying true to the Dickens story of life and how to live it.

Following each performance, the ensemble will lead the audience in a sing-along of favorite Christmas carols, past and present.

The show is directed by Connie Flores.

The cast includes: Alex Adams as Scrooge; Blake Griffin as Bob Cratchit; Joey Petersen as Fred, Mr. Fezziwig and the Ghost of Christmas Future; Griffin Johnson as the Collector and the Ghost of Christmas Present; Connor Madziarczyk as Marley's Ghost; Grace Johnson as the Ghost of Christmas Past and a caroler; Harlan Duffy as Ebeneezer and a caroler; Kaelyn Harvey as Fan Scrooge and a caroler; Luke Neville as Young Scrooge and a caroler; Logan Connon as Dick Wilkins and a caroler; Katey Angelo as Mrs. Fezziwig and a caroler; Kyla Augustine as Belle and a caroler; Isabel Smoczynski as Mrs. Cratchit and a caroler; Natalie Briggs as Martha Cratchit and a caroler; Amelia Smoczynski as Sally Cratchit and a caroler; Natalie Strong as Belinda Cratchit and a caroler; Jonah Hays as Ned Cratchit and a caroler; Aaron Briggs as Peter Cratchit and a caroler; Micah Casey-Fusco as Tim Cratchit and a caroler; Devin Flores as Turkcy boy and a caroler; Katie and Kristen Das as carolers.

The Geneva Underground Playhouse is a not-for-profit community theater which produces mainstage productions throughout the year, and also hosts performances by comedy groups, musicians, playwrights and any number of other entertainers.
