Entertainment Lineup for 2013 Festival of the Vine

Festival of the Vine has a great entertainment lineup Friday, Sept. 6, through Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013.

Friday, Sept. 6


4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.: Ken Slauf — For decades, Ken’s own style of folk, blues, rock and jazz with acoustic guitars and ukulele create a unique space with great songs and a warm vibe. You can always expect fun-filled sets of music.

6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.: Blind Reflexx — A unique group of professional musicians whose musical backgrounds span across several decades. Their originals are unique and catchy, and their songs from other artists (such as Dave Matthews, Aerosmith, U2, John Cougar, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Oasis and many others) take on a fresh twist. When Blind Reflexx plugs in and starts to jam, you will have an incredible night of entertainment that will keep you coming back for more.

8 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.: Dennis O’Brien Band — A group of local musicians who have been performing classic covers with meaningful arrangements for over the past 30 years. They are accomplished musicians who have performed nationally with various musical acts. Collectively, they have shared the stage with such notable artists from Michael McDonald and The Eagles to Chuck Berry and Robert Plant.

Saturday, Sept. 7


4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.: Dropped Once — Dropped Once brings their blend of Reggae and Rock. Solid originals that instantly hit, along with covers from Bob Marley, Sublime, to Pink Floyd. Hailing from Chicagoland, these eight stand out musicians make the sound that Dropped Once delivers.

6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.: Lincoln Don’t Lie — Reminding you of everything that is great about country music. Led by the sultry vocal talents of lead singer, Tarah Tesmer, Lincoln Don’t Lie celebrates some of today’s great country music as well as adds a new twang to some great alternative hits. Enjoy covers of Miranda Lambert, Sugarland, The Band Perry, Little Big Town, Eric Church, Jason Aldean, Chris Young as well as Maroon 5, Alanis Morissette and more!

8 p.m. - 10 p.m.: Hiline Band — Motown, '70s & '80s party songs and a touch of swing.

Sunday, Sept. 8


noon - 4 p.m.: The Blind Roosevelts — Move to a mix of acoustic/electric rock laced with strong harmony vocals.
