'Eat Your Art Out' Replaces 'Dancing With the Geneva Stars'

Proceeds benefit the Geneva Cultural Arts Commission and its efforts to create diverse cultural arts experiences for the community.

A new fundraiser called Eat Your Art Out has replace the popular Dancing With the Geneva Stars annual fundraiser.

For the first time in Geneva, art will be paired with food and wines as the Herrington Inn's executive chef, Jason Tsoris, creates culinary masterpieces inspired by fine local art.

The new event will take place on Feb. 20, at the Herrington Inn, beginning with a cocktail reception from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. followed by dinner from 7 p.m. 8:30 p.m. and culminating with an auction from 8:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Tsoris will create a masterpiece dinner including three delicious wine pairings. Inspired by four selections of creative art, Chef Tsoris will create his four-course 
dinner.

Featured artists include painter Len Bielefeldt, sculptor Larry Johnson, glass 
artisans Don and Ellen Ljung, and painter Jan Schmuckal. The featured art work will be available to purchase during the auction following dinner. Additional auction items will also be available to purchase.

Tickets for this one-of-a-kind event are $100 and are available to purchase online at the Geneva Cultural Arts Commission web site www.genevarts.org. For more detailed information, call the GCAC line at 630-938-4530. Seating is limited for this exclusive event.
