Tickets Available and Voting Open for 30 Men vs. 30 Women Who Cook

In its fifth year, the popular 60 Men Who Cook has a new look—adding women to the recipe, mixing it up and titling it "30 Men vs 30 Women Who Cook."

It's the battle of the sexes, culinary style.

Sixty local celebrities will demonstrate their cooking skills when the Geneva Chamber of Commerce presents this event to benefit the Geneva History Center, Geneva Lions Club and Rotary Club of Geneva. The event is at 5:30 p.m., Friday, April 19, at the Kane County Fairgrounds, 525 S. Randall Road, St. Charles.

Attendees will sample hors d’oeuvres, main dishes, side dishes & desserts made by men and women they know in the community and then vote for their favorite to take home the “Peoples’ Choice Award” in each of the four categories.  Local media personalities, a handful of Geneva restaurant owners & chefs, politicians, business owners, community volunteers and many more are just the start.

Tickets are $28 if purchased before the event and include food tastings, voting and entertainment.  The evening will also include a cash bar and raffle.

Pre-voting is now open until April 17 at www.genevachamber.com/30v30.html.  Tickets can also be pre-purchased at that site and held for pickup at will call the night of the event.

Tickets are also available at the Geneva Chamber of Commerce (8 S. Third St.), Geneva History Center (113 S. Third St.), The Paper Merchant (328 S. Third St.) and State Street Jewelers (214 W. State St).
