Create Special Memories With Your Daughter at the 'Just Dad 'N Me' Dance

Register now for the Geneva Park District’s Just Dad’n Me Dance to create lasting memories with your favorite little gal! From 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, at Geneva High School, dads and daughters will enjoy an evening of dancing, entertainment and cupcakes provided by Geneva’s hottest new bakery, The Sugar Path.

Doors open at 5 p.m. for check-in and pictures. All couples will receive a keepsake photograph.

Cost for residents is $10 per person. Cost for nonresidents is $15 per person. Advance registration is required, abd early registration encouraged, as space is limited. Remember, daughters and fathers must register individually. Geneva High School is located at 416 McKinley Avenue in Geneva.

Mom won’t miss out on the fun, either! From 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, the day before the Just Dad’n Me Dance, the Geneva Park District will host a boutonniere-making class for mothers and daughters at Sunset Community Center.

Moms and their daughters ages 4 and up will create a boutonierre for dad, enjoy cupcakes, and primp for the big night ahead. Each girl will decorate a comb, mirror, carry-all, and a frame for her photo from the dance, before mom paints her nails to match her dress.

Cost for residents is $20. Cost for nonresidents is $30. Advance registration required. Sunset Community Center is located at710 Western Ave. in Geneva.
