Judges Set for High-Stakes Pie Bake-Off Competition June 12 in Geneva

June 12 is the date, pie is at stake.

Internationally acclaimed pastry chef will be joining pastry chef extraordinaire Gale Gand and food critic Deb Pankey as a judge in the annual AID Pie Bake-Off Competition which will be held on Sunday, June 12, at the in Geneva.

Chef Roby, a Certified Master of Pastryand Sugar Artistry, has won more than 20 prestigious culinary awards and is the creative genius behind thein Geneva.

First-place prize is $150 and a life time membership to the American Pie Council. Second- and third-place prizes include a gift basket from the Spice House in Geneva, Bread for a Year Certificate from Panera Bread, and gift certificates from area merchants.

Pre-registration is required. The competition is open to bakers of all skill levels and proceeds benefit the Association for Individual Development (AID), which provides services for more than 5,400 children and adults with special needs in 46 area communities.
