Hello Cold, Now Here Comes Snow

The National Weather Service predicts 3 to 5 inches of snow for Geneva and the rest of Kane and DuPage counties beginning Tuesday evening.

As if the cold wasn’t enough. Now it looks like it will be cold and snowy entering the new year.

The National Weather Service on Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, issued a winter weather advisory for 3 to 5 inches of snow. The advisory kicks in at 4 p.m. Tuesday, when snowfall is expected to begin developing, and runs through 10 a.m. Wednesday.

A winter weather advisory for snow indicates primarily travel difficulties for snow on roads and limited visibility. The National Weather Service urges caution while driving.
