Genevans: Jump Start Your Gardening!

On May 14, Third and State streets host Gardenology—a chance to learn, ask and purchase all things horticultural.

Gather ideas and dreams for your garden!

Merchants in historic, downtown Geneva will host the third  annual Gardenology. This free event takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 14, rain or shine, along State and Third streets.

Gardenology advisers and vendors will bring their best ideas and garden related products to jump-start your gardening season. Experts in every horticulture field including farming, landscape design, weavers, local nurseries, a dog trainer, College of DuPage’s Horticultural Department and more will be on hand to answer your questions.

Topics include herbs, flowers, vegetables, heirloom plants and perennials. Learn about attracting birds and butterflies, wildlife control, composting, organic fertilizers and more. Scheduled seminars, demonstrations and children’s events are planned and will be posted on the Gardenology website. Please join us for the day long festival and our garden path to Nature.

There will be over 50 experts on hand to answer your questions and offer advice. Plants and accessories will be available for purchase.
