The National Weather Service-Chicago issued a dense fog advisory for Kane County on Wednesday.
"IMPACTS ... DENSE FOG WILL MAKE TRAVELING BY CAR OR AIR VERY CHALLENGING THROUGH EARLY AFTERNOON. PERSONS WHO MUST TRAVEL SHOULD PLAN ACCORDINGLY," the NWS advisory said.
