National Turn Off Your Television Week

Learn!  Move!  Play!  Join the Geneva History Center for a week of after-school programs and participate in the National Turn Off Your Television Week with daily programs Monday, April 23, through Friday, April 27, from 3:00 - 4:00 pm each afternoon.  The programs provide alternative TV-free activities for children ages 5 - 12.  Geneva History Center volunteers will teach children to play classic children’s games--marbles, hopscotch, cats’ cradle, pick-up sticks, and other historic children’s entertainment.  Please check the Geneva History Center’s website and events calendar for detailed activity descriptions and more information.

The drop-in programs are free and no reservation is required, but a suggested donation of $2.00 is appreciated.  Feel free to contact the Geneva History Center with questions at 630-232-4951 or email educator@genevahistorycenter.org
