Deadline for Swedish Days Basketball, Dodgeball Tournaments Approaching

Team registration for Geneva Park District’s 3v3 Basketball Tournament has been extended to Thursday, June 19.

This annual tournament will take place during Swedish Days, Saturday, June 21 at 9 a.m. on downtown Geneva’s 3rd Street. Each team of five players is guaranteed two games.

All participants will receive a t-shirt. Prizes will be awarded to the winning team in each division: ages 10-11, 12-13, 13-15, 15-18, and 18+.

Pre-registration is required by Monday, June 16. Cost is $60 per team.

All players must be listed on team registration forms, and may not play on more than one team. Teams will be placed in the category of their oldest player.

Dodgeball Tournament Deadline Approaching

Third through Eighth graders interested in participating in Geneva Park District’s Swedish Days Dodgeball Tournament must register their team by next Friday, June 13.

The tournament officiated by All Star Sports Instruction will take place, Friday, June 20 at Wheeler Park, located off Route 31.

Games begin at 10 a.m. Each team of 6-8 players will be guaranteed two games. All participants will receive a t-shirt. Prizes will be awarded to the winning team in each division: grades 3-4, 5-6, and 7-8.
