Andrea at Swedish Days: Try a 'Moveable Feast' Fit for a King

Though still full from Swedish Pancakes, I decide to indulge in a savory lunch from Moveable Feast.

Gastronomical fantasy? I think … YES!

Home to Oprah’s favorite brownies, fudgy chocolate treats are not the only scrumptious item on the menu at Moveable Feast for Swedish Days.

For lunch on Saturday, I got to share a delectable plate of homemade creamy coleslaw, warm, maple-flavored baked beans and a moist, tender pulled pork sandwich with some family members.

“It was worth every penny,” I heard a fellow diner say. “I am coming back tomorrow for more.”

I am not sure that I, too, will be headed back to this booth during the final day of Swedish Days tomorrow, but this meal did remind me of how fortunate Geneva is to serve as home to some world-class chefs. One bite and I was convinced: Next time I am able to mooch a meal off of my parents or friends, I will no doubt be coming downtown Geneva.
