Welcome Club of the Fox Valley Begins 38th Year

The Welcome Club of the Fox Valley is starting its 38th year in this area.  It is dedicated to friendship and some philanthropic activities.  We offer a variety of Activity Groups including games like: Bridge, Bunco, Mexican Train, Scrabble, Mahjong; dining opportunities such as:  Food and Friends, Let’s Do Lunch, and Lite Lunch (a salad lunch); and finally two Book Discussion Groups, a Memoir Writing Circle, Movie Fans, Walkers, Out and About Community Trips and a special coterie of single woman called The Weekend Stars.  There really is something for everyone. Yearly dues are $25 and a newsletter and directory are provided to our members. Morning meetings are held in a NORTHERN ILLINOIS FOOD BANK meeting room, 273 Dearborn Court, Geneva, IL. Upcoming General Meetings are: Tues. Sept. 3, Tues. Oct. 1, Tues.
