TriCity Family Services Snowflake Shuffle 5K Committee Kickoff Meeting

Geneva, IL- On Thursday, Sept. 5th, 2013 TriCity Family Services will host a Snowflake Shuffle 5K Walk/Run Committee Kickoff Meeting at 6 p.m. at the agency, 1120 Randall Ct., Geneva.

 

The Committee Kickoff meeting is for those interested in learning more about the role they can play in assisting with the planning for this popular family friendly, holiday-inspired race.  The meeting is free and open to the public, and all are welcome to attend.   High school or college-aged students are also encouraged to attend and become part of this committee in return for community service hours. Pizza and soda will be provided for meeting attendees.

Help TriCity Family Services “kick off” a brainstorming session for their first Snowflake Shuffle meeting of the year by sharing your race or fundraising experiences, ideas, and input.

Hallie Hudson, TriCity Family Services Development Associate states, “Attending our Committee Kick Off meeting is the perfect opportunity for those who enjoy running or those who enjoy “running” events.  From September to November, the committee will hold informal monthly meetings at the agency to assist in the planning and preparation of the race.  We look forward to new members joining us and contributing to the success and growth of our Snowflake Shuffle. “

 

Over 800 runners are expected at this year’s 5th Annual Snowflake Shuffle 5K Walk/Run, which will take place on Saturday, Dec. 7th, at the Mill Creek Clubhouse and Subdivision in Geneva.
