NORTHERN ILLINOIS FOOD BANK HELPS MILITARY FAMILIES BY PROVIDING INDEPENDENCE DAY COOK OUT PACKS FOR HOLIDAY

Servicemen from the Naval Station Great Lakes USO Center, receive Independence Day Cook Out Packs, from Pete Schaefer, president and CEO of Northern Illinois Food Bank today.  These servicemen were two of more than 70 military families who received items such as hot dogs from Vienna Beef and Buns from Alpha Baking Company, Inc. to help them celebrate the holiday.
