Girl Scouts Open Troops in Geneva!

Girl Scouts will host an information night for girls, parents, and potential volunteers on Thursday, April 11, 6:30 p.m., at Geneva Public Library, 127 James St. in Geneva.

Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois (GSNI) will host an information night for girls, parents, and potential volunteers on Thursday, April 11, 6:30 p.m., at Geneva Public Library, 127 James St. in Geneva. Girls will participate in hands-on activities from each of the Girl Scout Journey series, play games, and talk to members of a local troop to learn about community programs available to Girl Scouts. Families will discover the value of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience for their girls and receive exciting resources such as the summer camp program guide for local Girl Scout camps.

GSNI is also looking for potential volunteers, ages 18 and older, to lead six-week Girl Scout troop opportunities for girls in grades K–5. Volunteers will be provided training and support materials focusing on one of three Girl Scout Journeys. For more information, please contact Rebecca Gronke at 630-897-1565, Ext. 7181, or rgronke@girlscoutsni.org
