Captain Kody: Pumpkins, Ponies and Cows!?

Captain Kody goes to the Autumn Fair at Peck Farm Park!

You bet! There were pumpkins, ponies, cows and more at the Autumn Fair on Saturday.

Captain Kody was lucky enough that his big sister, Stacey, took him to have some fun at the Autumn Fair at sponsored by the .

Kody got to meet many of his admiring fans who read his blog. He got to meet many kids, who really enjoyed petting his fluffy fur, and he even got to meet the ever-popular ponies! He was hoping that he could ride along with the other kids, but the ponies weren't too excited about that idea.

Kody was amused by the cows standing in the cow-chip big ring, but he seemed to be OK with their presence after a short, but intimidating face off. Kody also went by the butterfy house, stood in line in hopes to go on a hay ride, waited his turn to select the perfect pumpkin from the pumpkin patch and tried to convince someone to give him a taste of the warm chili and brats that were being served.

He wasn't too interested in the cider that people were drinking to stay warm on the cool, slightly rainy day, but he certainly has more than enough hair to keep him comfortable!

Aside from all of the attention he got—yes, as usual, Kody was a heart stealer—Kody's favorite part of the day was getting to spend some time with his big sister, who came home from college to visit. He was not successful in winning the raffle, but he was proud to buy some tickets and support the Park District.

Of course, Kody already plans to return to the fair again next year, but for now, he's got plenty more to do on his list of autumn fun in Geneva!

Stay tuned!
