Captain Kody goes to the Carnival

Carnivals and dogs? I don't think this is a very good combination. But Geneva dogs, it seems, are up for anything. I felt slightly guilty to take Kody to another overly populated location during the festival, but I wanted to make sure he got the full experience his first year at Swedish Days.

He really was not in favor of the loud noises and crazy kids, but he did find one spot he liked. On account of his cuteness, Kody was able to score a free pass for both of us to take a ride on the Ferris wheel. 

If I am lucky, I might be able to convince Kody to come back with me later so that I can get a funnel cake, but then again, I think this week has been long enough for both of us!

Don't worry, though, we will both be watching the parade tomorrow and celebrating the final, always bittersweet day of the festival.
