What's the Park District Doing With Old Underground Playhouse? (Take a Sneak Peek)

Playhouse 38 is a small intimate theatre located in the heart of Geneva at 524 W. State Street, Suite I.

Remember the old Geneva Underground Playhouse in the Stanton Building at 524 W. State St.?

You know that the Geneva Park District has that space now, right?

Well, come and see what they're doing with it in an open house from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9.

The space is now called "Playhouse 39," and it's the home of the Geneva Park District’s new Cultural Arts Program. (There's a second chance to see it from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, as well.)

No pre-registration is required for this "cultural arts demo." Tour the Playhouse, meet the instructors, participate in a free demo class, ask questions, and learn just what Cultural Arts are all about.

Playhouse 38 is a small intimate theatre located in the heart of Geneva at 524 W. State Street, Suite I. The space offers endless opportunities for performers of all ages and experience levels to grow both onstage and behind the scenes.
