Today in Geneva: Festival of the Vine Begins!

Sept. 6-8 marks the 32nd year for Festival of the Vine in Geneva.

Sept. 6-8 marks the 32nd year for Festival of the Vine in Geneva, and this year, the festival runs all through the downtown area.

As is tradition, the Flavor Fare and Wine Tent are located on the corner of Fourth and State streets in downtown Geneva. 

On all sides of the old courthouse — on Third, Campbell and James streets — will be a garden market, arts and craft show, demonstration stage, weekend kids’ activities, complimentary carriage and trolley ride stops.

Festival of the Vine special events will take place in the downtown area with the All Chocolate Kitchen, Chez Moi, Fiora’s, Galena Cellars Vineyard & Winery, Geneva Wine Cellars & Tasting Room, Graham’s Fine Chocolates & Ice Cream with Gibby’s Wine Den, Oscar Swan Country Inn, Preservation Bread & Wine, SavWay Fine Wines & Spirits and The Little Traveler. 

Business Booths will be set up on James Street and are ready to share information about their products.

Free entertainment is offered Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Favorites return and new acts are debuting at Festival of the Vine.
