Remembering 9/11 in Geneva

Have we forgotten Sept. 11, 2001, too soon?

One of the blessings of this job is that people share so much of what they're thinking and doing in Geneva.

And as a result, sometimes, they remind us of what's important.

Kevin Reszel, of Reszel Industries iDeadvertising, sent to our home the lithograph rendering of "Home of the Brave" you see attached to this article. It was his way of remembering the 12th anniversary of 9/11.

"In the aftermath of September 11, 2001, I was struck by the amazing resilience of the American people and the business community at-large," Reszel wrote. "The overwhelming outpouring of fellowship and 'community' exhibited by all was nothing short of remarkable."

"Each year, I endeavor to remember September."

Randy Herschelman shared a CNN. com photo along with the message to never forget.

"This is a picture i took at Ground Zero in Sept of 2004. This cross made up of beams found in the ruble from the World Trade Center was mounted on a concrete base as a memorial. I will never forget the day we visited Ground Zero. It was a place of profound sadness and very quiet. I kind of look at it a this generations Pearl Harbor. Do you remember where you were and what you were doing when you first got the news of the terrorist attacks?"

They are a few images among many.

Do you remember where you were on Sept. 11, 2001? Twelve years later, have we forgotten its impact? Let us know how you feel in the comments field below.
