Relax and Recharge on Friday Night
Rejuvenate body, mind, and spirit and retool a stress-free inner life to reclaim your natural state of peace and tranquility. The pressures of daily life often leave us feeling drained and burned out. This becomes our new "normal" and we forget how to turn off anxiety and stress and tune in to rejuvenation and deep relaxation.
Enjoy the deep nourishment of restorative yoga's longer holds in propped poses that give the body the time and support to let go. With skillful guidance, you can consciously and fully relax, moving into a state of peaceful surrender. All poses will be modified according to needs and abilities.
This restorative yoga practice consists of passive yoga poses with long holds, and supine poses supported by props. These poses positively affect the parasympathetic nervous system to bring homeostasis and deeply quiet the mind. By working passively in poses and turning your attention inward, you can release deeply held tension and restore energy both physically and mentally.
No yoga experience is required. Please wear comfortable clothing.
Registration is not required for this event. Cash only at the door.
