DESCRIPTION:As part of the always popular weekend in Geneva that begins e
 ach year&rsquo\;s Christmas Season\, the Steeple Walk returns Sunday aft
 ernoon December 9\, from 2 to 4:30pm. Now in its fourth year sponsored b
 y the Geneva Cultural Arts Commission\, it features a variety of seasona
 l music concerts at four Geneva churches\, all within easy walking dista
 nce.\nThe well-known Geneva High School Viking Ensemble Jazz Choir\, led
  by Roxane Curtis\, will perform at the United Methodist Church at Secon
 d and Hamilton Streets.\nThe accomplished Hanson String Quartet\, from t
 he Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra\, will appear at the Lutheran Church o
 n South Third Street.\nSinging at the Unitarian Universalist Society on 
 Second Street will be the women&rsquo\;s chorus from DeKalb\, Bread &amp
 \; Roses.\nOpposite on Second Street\, the First Church of Christ\, Scie
 ntist will host the internationally celebrated Pastiche Steel Ensemble.&
 nbsp\;It is comprised of three talented performers on the steel pan\, gr
 aduates of Northern Illinois University&rsquo\;s world-renowned program.
 \nTwo audience groups attend 20-minute concerts played simultaneously at
  the Methodist and Lutheran churches\, and change places.&nbsp\;They the
 n move to the last performances in the Unitarian and Christian Science c
 hurches opposite each other on Second Street.&nbsp\;Guides lead each gro
 up.\nTickets cost $12 and are available at the Geneva History Center\, C
 irca on Third Street\, and through PayPal.\nThe Steeple Walk Committee i
 s comprised of Gail Tattersfield\, Kris Lind\, Linda Kopec\, Amy Steenso
 n\, Kent Gallagher\, Jeanne Neltnor\, and Linda Valentine.
