Geneva Community High School presents Laughing Stock
Laughing Stock tells the story of an artistic director, Gordon, as he tries to keep his failing theatre company and venue afloat. To do this, he must pull off the impossible: run three different productions in one weekend. The plays-within-a-play plays on the melodrama of the backstafe antics of theatre companies, as well as brings in self-deprecating humor, mocking theatre, actors, and everyone in between. Laughing Stock is a play that will have you make you laugh, cry, and above all else, show you just how much effort goes into running a show.
