There is a way to lower Health Care costs.
Look at AARP Driver Safety Program--Seniors take it every 3 years, they get a Certificate of Completion. They show it to their Auto Insurance co. and the premium is reduced.
Seniors can take similar Driver Safety program elsewhere--and get reduction in their Auto insurance.
This incentive program seems to produce GOOD RESULTS.
Why doesn't MEDICARE adopt it?
Many insurance co. offer similar discount for those who fill a questionaire.Guthrie Health Care-Clinic has come up with unique program from 2013.
They give 200$/year back to the employees who get most of the preventative tests or shots. Some of the examples are:
- Flu Shot
- Colonoscopy
- Mammogram.
In the next 3 weeks-debate to SAVE MEDICARE will be a BIG subject among Congress men/women and the President.
Premiums ,Medicare payroll deduction all are likely to go up.
WHY NOT INCENTIVIZE those who take PREVENTIVE MEASURES?
