I didn't like them interrupting each other. Another thing I didn't like is that congressman Ryan doesn't answer questions clearly or at all so that its clear on where the Romney/Ryan ticket stand. THEY NEED TO SAY WHAT THEY MEAN & STAND ON IT & STOP FLIP FLOPING ON ISSUES TO fit their campaign! STOP BASHING EACH OTHER. IT's about US "The People" :-)

It looks like Ryan couldn't answer any questions. All these people are saying he was rudely interrupted but let's be honest he was put in his place by an old man with facts. How can anyone believe he did well or even won? Were we watching the same debate?

All I know is the GOP does a excellent job training their puppets.. Ryan can not answer any question direct to the point with any clarity. Biden came out with pure passion for the middle class people and a ambition to get the job done !

I think what I saw one commentator say hits the nail on the head: it was like watching a grownup arguing with a child. The petulant child was whining. I don't think the grownup was mean--he was laughing the way an adult does when a child insists that magic leprechauns inhabit his breakfast cereal. The 47% that Romney kicked to the curb--public teachers, firefighters, police, our troops, anyone who gets any government funding whatsoever--are not coming back. Bid Daddy Romney has told us he hates us one time too many. Lying about it won't work. We will always remember the insult. It was no slip of the tongue--it was part of a well thought-out paragraph of points leading inexorably to his candid statement of his disdain for us in the 47%.

Biden could not wait to get the truth out. Last week Obama was polite and did not interrupt and look where it got him. Biden knows the facts and called Ryan out on them time and time again. Best moment....Ryan ripping the stimulus plan and Biden talking about Ryans request for Stimulus money. Romney/Ryan seem to change their minds on the issues daily. How can one vote for a them if they are never certain on where they stand?

I found Biden's smile, smirk and general behavior distracting. It was difficult to listen to what either had to say with his antics up on the split screen. I am going to read the transcripts of the debate later today to make my decision on how it actually went. I hope that wasn't the tactic, to disrupt so much that neither could make a point. The closing statements (with no interuptions) were interesting. Based on the close, I would give a slight win to Ryan but, as I said, I'm going to read the transcripts.

Best summation I saw: Angry old man yells at polite young man for 90 minutes.

It was close to a draw, with extra points going to Ryan for staying respectfully on-message, with Biden merely replaying his all-bark-and-no-bite bulldog act while ignoring the reality of the years-long economic failure that is the Obama administration.

Because one or the other will help to represent US interests to the world at large for four years, I want the calm expertise of Paul Ryan over the loud-mouth "Ugly American" act that is all Joe Biden seems capable of.

Joe Biden was wonderful and I am grateful that he addressed the truth. Thank you Mr Biden!

Biden's rude cackles, grinning, laughing, finger pointing, arms up pontificating was classless and a huge distraction. It made me feel uneasy when I realized he had wonderful opportunity to show statesmanship and upstage the Ryan. He blew it. Biden was never asked a direct question like Ryan was...only lead in's to his trademark rants about nothing. Ryan had a chance to stump Biden with a question about what he found so funny because Biden was the only one laughing and no one was getting it but him.

I'm a bit embarrassed that the world gets to see our Vice President act like an irresponsible 10 year old on TV. Regardless of his excuses (and those that support his immature behavior) it was demeaning to his position to act like he did.

If he wants the Obama administration to be treated with respect, he might want to act like a mature adult. Or step it up a notch and act like the Vice President of the US.

As to the actual debate, it lacked a bit of what I wanted to see from both parties and the moderator was lackluster.

Perhaps the upcoming presidential debates will be more positive.

Mr. Biden made me uncomfortable and embarrassed for him. He smirked, laughed and mugged for the camera and audience. His behavior was boorish. People who are hurting economically didn't need someone making fun of things. Biden interrupted Mr. Ryan on several occasions as did the moderator. Biden also rambled on endlessly on different topics and lost my interest immediately. As an independent voter, I am simply NOT going to vote for Obama/Biden. Oh my goodness. I guess you can't win. Polite as Mr. Obama was, and he was called disinterested. Biden, who couldn't believe what LIES he was hearing, smiled in disbelief. What can you expect from people who believe as a party that the government should stay out of people's lives, unless it is about a woman's choice to have children? Really? Or free market, until it blows up, then let the government pay for it. Let us only pay benefits and healthcare for people who represent us. Not millionaires, the Koch Bros. or special interest. I am one of the 53% but respect the 100% all Americans. Love ya Joe, tell it like it is!

This current adminsstration is a joke and everyone outside the us is taking full advantage. Enough with the "lifetime politicians" it's time to see a business man running the biggest business in the world.

Matilda, you are brainwashed from the media. Mr. Romney did not even get paid as Governor of Mass. Yes, he took the job and worked without pay. B.O. does not care about our country he is an Anti-American and has a great plan to downsize America. And it looks like he has done a good job of it already in the 4 years in office. Americans will not allow him to destroy this great Republic any further. He will be removed.
