Tools Taken from Construction Site; Attempted Car Break-in at Parking Garage

Two burglaries from the police blotter—that is to say, one burglary and one attempted. The sites are a building under construction and a downtown parking garage.

 

A roundup of police reports shows tools taken from a construction site and an attempted burglar from a car in a Geneva parking garage.

Burglary—Someone took multiple tools from a building on a construction site at 2211 Innovation Drive sometime between 11 a.m. Dec. 4 and 6:30 a.m. Dec. 6, reports said.  The report identifies the victim as Krusinski Construction Company. 

Attempted Burglary—Someone damaged the passenger-side door lock and scratched the passenger side door frame of a vehicle parked on the second level of the Geneva Parking Garage, 597 South Third St., sometime between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Dec. 7. The owner estimated the cost of repair would be $250.
