Tonight's Geneva-vs.-Hinsdale Central Playoff Game Streaming on High School Cube

Geneva's Matt Rodewald will be doing the play-by-play for tonight's boys basketball game between Hinsdale Central and the Vikings of Geneva.

It's a power-packed, do-or-die showdown that's going to be live streamed at 7:30 p.m. on the High School Cube, and Geneva's Matt Rodewald is doing the play-by-play.

It's the Bolingbrook Sectional, and it pits the 20-8 Vikings against a Hinsdale Central team that ran up an 18-6 regular-season record. Tonight's winner will play West Aurora tomorrow.

You can tune in here and see the countdown to tonight's game time.

"I'll be calling the play by play on high school cube if Geneva fans can't get to the game," Rodewald said. "Viewers should check in to support Geneva hoops. (The more that do, the more HS Cube will realize that this is a good basketball town.)

"Tonight will be the first time I've called play by play for a Geneva basketball game. Kinda fun!"

Geneva is the 12th seed and advanced in the first round with a 43-33 win over Wheaton Warrenville South. Hinsdale Central is the fifth seed, so a win tonight would be considered an upset.

Rodewald will be back on TV tomorrow through the weekend for the IHSA State Finals (Girls 3A/4A) starting at noon and 6:30 p.m. on UTOO (Comcast 248).
