NO president would bother to mix the message at a stop like that...it would never happen...no elected official would. Politics.

Unfortunately, America has been hit by an obama which causes economic devastation. Millions of unemployed and underemployed people are trying to survive on a fraction of their former pay. Hopefully America can weather the storm of another 4 years of obama.
6:23 am on Monday, February 18, 2013
Funny, I'm one of those who lost his job because of the economy. But, I lost it while President Bush was in office, the guy I voted for twice. According to Nick, that would be President Obama's fault. Get a clue Nick.

Stones, I didn't loose a job during the Bush years but I was working less than 20 hrs a week. I got another job, 4 days later I was offered a better job and changed employers again. After a year there, another job offered me a deal I couldn't pass up and changed jobs again. I'm not saying jobs were that easy to find. Each time it was a better opportunity. When unemployment/welfare and food stamps pay more than a job it's easy to stay home. I'm not pushing for a higher minimum wage. I believe if there is no incentive to better yourself most people won't. We need to make it better to work than stay home.
10:50 am on Tuesday, February 19, 2013
You do realize the economy is actually in a much better place than were Bush left it, right?
8:34 am on Wednesday, February 20, 2013
Justin, do you care to explain what about this economy is better since Odumberthanaboxofrocks has taken office? Higher unemployment, much higher underemployment, many people have left the work force altogether, median income vs inflation has plummeted (people have less money to pay for more expensive items), taxes are higher - for EVERYONE who earns income, and I can't wait til 2014 when obummercare really starts to kick in. What alternate universe are you living in?
10:23 am on Sunday, February 17, 2013
2 unpaid wars, 8 years of ignoring banks doing what they want, employers paying close to zero taxes while offshoring jobs, wealthy paying lower taxes, since revenue isnt present the American taxpayer has to foot the bill. If America can survive the debacle of Bush/Vader she most certainly can survive 4 more of Obama!
10:45 am on Sunday, February 17, 2013
News flash for you . The banks were under orders from Clinton to give loans to those who could not afford them.

11:03 am on Sunday, February 17, 2013
It amazes me how the republicons seem to forget the mess Bush put us in, but somehow it's either President Obama's fault or President Clinton...it will never end.
11:05 am on Sunday, February 17, 2013
Thank you Tracey, it amazes me how the republicons forget the Bush mess that was left and they love to ignore the facts and blame President Obama and the former President Clinton....they're just ignorant fools.

Tracey your so misinformed,I bet you voted for Jesse Jr. to,and Tracey who runs and has been for many years Chicago,Crook County, and the State of Illinois and what shape are we in?? well Tracey, now go back to your obama doll.

Kerry, a few facts to help us all here. The Community Re-Investment Act was passed in the 70's. That 'encouraged' banks to be a little more lenient toward people with less than stellar credentials. THEN, the Congress changed the laws so that banks could sell off your mortgage...but that STILL wasn't quite enough. The Gramm/Leach/Bliley Act (Republican-sponsors, putting forth a bill written by the banks and signed by Clinton in 1999) allowed banks/lenders to sell mortgages off as derivatives. THAT did it...it allowed for MUCH greater speculation of risk. In truth, because the banks weren't holding the note anymore, even though they KNEW some loans would 'go bad', they didn't care, because it was an investors problem. Except SO many banks were doing it, there were too many for the PMI insurers to handle (thus the crash and bailout of AIG). SO, Kerry, while Clinton DID sign the bill, no 'orders' were given. It was the GOP that pushed the legislation. ALSO, consider THIS tidbit: "While many self-proclaimed conservatives blame the Democrats for the social programs and anti-free market policies it was President Bush in 2002 who stated that a high down payments are a big barrier to first time owners. During “A Home Of Your Own” conference on May 17, 2002 President Bush urged Congress to use taxpayers' money to interfere in the market place by lowering down payments for those that cannot afford to buy a home." http://www.wtffinance.com/2011/04/why-did-the-housing-market-crash/
11:29 am on Monday, February 18, 2013
Thank You, Kerry. I was in the real estate business and watched it fold overnight. Upon diligent research.......Clinton caused this mess. "EVERYONE deserves a home (house)". Even if they had no means to pay for it.
11:47 am on Monday, February 18, 2013
Upon diligent research?
Please, quote some, link some, or stop pretending you did any...Truth...you were in the real estate industry and watched it fold? So...for what, ten years fro when you want to blame Clinton (which I DID note he played a part), you did nothing but rake in the cash, even though it was obvious to those who WANTED to know that the upward trend was OBVIOUSLY a bubble...? Thanks for playing your part. You are wrong, I LITERALLY quote Bush doing 'his part' in the mess, but you LITERALLY still claim it is all Clinton's fault...despite your claim at "diligent research". Are you illiterate, are you lying, or are you purely a troll, with nothing else to do? Because upon our diligent research, it must be one of those...
8:41 am on Wednesday, February 20, 2013
Lucie... it amazes me how the dumbacrats forget how the economy was doing in 2005 or 2006. 2007 the housing bubble coupled with a dumbacrat congress brought this country to a stand still. Don't get me wrong, Bush spent way too much money. Don't blame the wars though, Iraq cost 800billion. That's over 8 years of fighting. Obama blows more than that EVERY year.
Tracey, you know nothing about the banking industry and what happened to it. Your comment proves it.

Ding, ding, ding. Kerry scores again! Watch all these former "full-time" employees be cut to 28 hrs/week (they'll still be "full-time" though).
11:54 am on Monday, February 18, 2013
Kerry...which points are not true? Please, feel free to refute them with evidence (wikipedia doesn't count, ever, for either side).
I do not debate that some employers are doing what you say, actually, though it is WAY overblown because a LOT of the AHA has yet to be implemented...but people like Papa John have been whining about it for two years...all you ever hear is that business wants certainty...until they get it, then they want another carve out/hand out. Are too many on welfare? Sure. Are they all 'people'? Only if you believe that corporations are 'people'...which I do not...too much 'free money' for everybody, people and companies alike.
For proof, look to the South...they GIVE away the land, and make the businesses that build pay little or no tax. They build support roads, police, fire, etc...the companies pay horribly and the residents are the poorest and least educated and have the worst standard of living in the country.
Probably just a coincidence though.
10:55 am on Sunday, February 17, 2013
I am not a fan of Bush either but you need to get one of your facts straight. The 10% of households with the highest incomes pay more than 70% of federal income taxes, according to the Congressional Budget Office. I agree that Obama and Bush are/were not fiscally responsible, but don't fall rhetoric that we need more taxes. We need less government and politicians.
More Faux News talking points, get over yourselves already and learn to read real news.
3:21 pm on Sunday, February 17, 2013
Lucie, can you show anything that says SmartMan5 is wrong other than your slur of FNC?
3:27 pm on Sunday, February 17, 2013
"The top 10 percent (this would include a public school teacher and a police officer each making $56,000 a year who are married and filing a joint tax return) paid 70 percent, and those in the top half paid almost 98 percent of all federal income taxes. "
Top 10% $112,124 70.47%
Whats funny is if you search for the statistics they are mostly found on conservative websites or news agencies or blogs. If the progressive media refuses to cover it the progressives deny the story's are true or even exist.
3:31 pm on Sunday, February 17, 2013
And the WORST thing is people like Lucie who dismiss it so easily as just "Faux News"
have the same access to the facts as you and I SmartMan5. She slurs FNC and at the same time it totally ignorant of the fact from watching the best, Al Sharpton, Rachael Madcow and never opening their minds.
Lucie, the information is on the interment all over and a simple search will tell anyone who cares the truth. You deny the truth we all can see on any number of websites form the US Governments to lowly national blogs.
11:16 am on Sunday, February 17, 2013
Nope, I am a NBC man sticking to the facts!
7:28 pm on Sunday, February 17, 2013
The same NBC who edited a 911 tape to make a man sound like a racist for ratings and to influence a murder case?
11:20 am on Sunday, February 17, 2013
It always come down to what is best for the party instead of the country on both sides. But there is one item that i would like to mention. Since the top 10% "DOES" pay more than 70% of the taxes in America and the top 10% are those rich people who own everything wouldn't it make sense that they are not going to take a cut in lifestyle and instead will raise their prices to make the "poor people" pay more. So in turn are not the "poor people" going to be hurt by raising the tax rate on those rich people. Just one thought that might make sense to everyone regardless of party.
3:06 pm on Sunday, February 17, 2013
That is the essence of 'trickle-down economics', David H...which has been proven to not work, repeatedly...the whole 'job creators' line, that if we just TRUST the wealthy people enough, they will share...they will build something, create jobs here...how did that work out for us? Lost jobs for a decade, wages are suppresed, everything making a decent wage or with benefits is gone and in another country WITH A TAX BREAK for taking it there...I don't really care to hear the whining of the wealthy people anymore...the middle class is destroyed now thanks to such policy. It has been class warfare for YEARS, but the middle class was too stupid to stay united and divided we fell...and the upper class wiped the floor with us...heck, they had us wipe the floor ourselves...last one out, hit the lights?
11:41 am on Monday, February 18, 2013
I guess a working wage of $95 per hour helped everyone to. It is definitely not cheaper to build things outside of the US. All American's should have the same outcome regardless of risk, effort, knowledge, and attitude. Yup those whining wealth people are the problem and the solution is to take everything they have and make them live in the poverty they created. We won't need to hit the lights because the power won't be on.
2:46 pm on Tuesday, February 19, 2013
David H, not sure why you defend the people who are destroying the middle class, but what is lost in your sarcasm (which I'm fine with) is that you cannot argue that those job-creators created no jobs, cost us jobs, have no plans to replace those jobs, and make mind-baffling numbers like 177,000 times the average American for doing not much more that somebody running a mid-sized business on their own fofr a tiny fraction of that profit...why not defend a small business owner instead? (An ACTUAL small business, not someplace like Microsoft, which has relatively few employees and counts as such by the government but makes billions every year.)
Why not ask billionaires to pay the same rate (a flat tax would be fine with me) as 'thousandaires'? Who makes $95 an hour? Not the people you so willingly defend...they make hundreds of times that.
1:52 am on Friday, February 22, 2013
I really don't think the sarcasm is lost on you. As for the job creators creating no jobs, I think the problem might be they created no jobs in America. As for the $95 per hour number, that comes from adding those suppressed union wages of $50 per hour to the suppressed benefits they receive of about $45 per hour. But I guess you are right, it is hard to live when you make $100,000 per year with your retirement and insurance paid for. And that fat cat who is making thousands more than you are, do you think they might have done something DIFFERENT that you have done to get where they are. Lastly, why not have everyone pay the same rate, that way no one gets the free ride. I just love how the have not’s think they got taken advantage of by the haves.
11:44 am on Sunday, February 17, 2013
Lucie, you disrespect FOX news...my guess is that you can NOT even name one FOX news anchor..Prove me wrong!
3:15 pm on Sunday, February 17, 2013
Who DOES respect Fox (almost) News?
Cavuto hates poor people, Perino is a former Bush mouthpiece, the smarmy Greg guy got fired from running Maxim into the ground (and all he had to do was show hot chicks in underwear), Megyn Kelly needs to grow her hair back, because now nobody respects her AND she isn't as good to look at (like that isn't why she was hired...), Van Sustren was too boring for even CNN, Hannity is a bloviating liar, and O'Reilly is the same with worse hair. The WHOLE morning show is one sided and not very smart...
MSNBC is JUST as biased, but at least they don't get non-stop crazies as guests, or show people killing themsleves on live Tv...I could go my whole life wihtout another Maddow blazer, but she does research her topics (I check them out, yes, I need a hobby). I cannot stand listening to Al Sharpton either, he is as bad as the Fox people, I will grant you that...but nobody should be faulted for disrespecting Fox (not quite) News...yikes!
4:48 pm on Sunday, February 17, 2013
Dave, trickle down DOES work when left alone. Its proven that the Dems do not understand the economy and how it works. They think that tax and spend will make a robust economy and that does not work. Its proven that tax and spend does not work. Look at Obama and his tax and spend policies. The economy is worse than ever.
9:25 pm on Sunday, February 17, 2013
Stick with MSNBC and the BEST in the business. Al Sharpton, Ralph Madcow, Larry O'Donnell. The BEST media has to offer. Don;t forge their BIG STAR!!!
Oh whats his name? I can't remember, um um, oh yea, Kweif Olberman. Only the top, the best, the pinnacles of journalism.
9:31 pm on Sunday, February 17, 2013
Dave W, what do you think of Catherine Herridge or Jennifer Griffin of Fox News?
12:12 pm on Monday, February 18, 2013
Kerry, WHEN has it EVER worked? It is an economic principle that is based on the FAITH that it WOULD work if allowed to wreck an economy long enough...but there is NO evidence that it actually WILL work, or HAS worked...
Please provide some evidence or links...
12:29 pm on Monday, February 18, 2013
Since you are obviously trying to work in a Bengahzi reference here, allow me to help you...they seem to do their job, with the same slant I would expect from Fox (Almost) News toward anything this administration does, just as I would expect no different from the majority of the people reporting at MSNBC with the regime that came before.
They are both biased organizations. I KNOW Rachel Maddow has a huge bias...but she is VERY well researched. Most of the rest of the shows are not up to her standard. Is her research done with an eye toward showing up the GOP, yes, but I know that, just as when I watch Fox, I know who has what opinion before they start talking.
The real problem is that once 'news' became something that was supposed to make money, it started to rely on biases, because they create conflict, which creates drama, which builds ratings, which gets everybody paid.
There really is no 'mainstream' media. Between radio, interweb, print and of course Tv, there is plenty of representation on both sides...it is a fallacy that one side is in control of the 'mainstream'.
11:45 am on Sunday, February 17, 2013
When Clinton wanted the banks to give loans to people who couldn't come up with a big down payment, I don't think he meant to allow people to buy houses way over their means. Maybe we need more controls if people are not smart enough to know what they can afford and banks don't really care because they make money on the initial loans and then wash their hand.
3:16 pm on Sunday, February 17, 2013

12:56 pm on Sunday, February 17, 2013
Banks may have been ordered to help with home ownership but they created tools to still win even when the risk of helping people fell through. Our problem is the quid pro quo of tax cuts, unpaid for at that. Obama has spent way less than any of his predecessors, debt is spiraling from interest of unpaid debt. It's funny how republicans become fiscally responsible when the opposition is in the oval office, you call libs tax and spend but your label is borrow and spend, both are bad IMO! We need accountability no matter who is in office, but don't dare try to act like the Bush years didn't happen, in order to fix it we require all hands on deck. This congress it the most divisive and inept in recent memory, if Harry Reid said his job was to make Bush a one term president repubs would have been screaming bloody murder, McConnel says it he's a role model. Record filibusters, blocking Defense Sec while we are at war over personal vendettas, That is hypocrisy, how can anyone defend congress, then in the same breath say it's Obamas fault? We have a revenue problem that wont be fixed with austerity measures absent of raising revenue, but most congressmen from both sides are pimped out to the highest paying corporation. Thats the crux of the issue!
3:23 pm on Sunday, February 17, 2013
If we re-instate Glass-Steagall, the vast majority of the problems would go away as far as the housing market. We won't, because there is way too much money made by the banks...and they give way too much to Congress.
2:41 pm on Sunday, February 17, 2013
i can see neither side is to blame hah!, how about they are ALL to blame.
3:56 pm on Sunday, February 17, 2013

4:02 pm on Sunday, February 17, 2013
THAT would be nice...
4:50 pm on Sunday, February 17, 2013
Great point .
4:58 pm on Sunday, February 17, 2013
so right just fix it, if it were that easy, but I am sure it is and the white house and congress will make it as difficult as they can, not sure that Obama can or will
The point of the Constitution was to create a perfect union, to keep us on track and to keep us free. It wasn't perfect and has been amended 27 times. Today, instead of going through the amendment process which is quite rigorous, we allow our elected politicians to do whatever they please. We are bombarded with unconstitutional laws and regulations to the point, only a few are challenged. The power has shifted from the people to the politicians, unions and banks who constantly protect each other. Our system of checks and balances is failing. As long as we choose to defend deeply flawed red and blue instead of a marginally flawed Constitution, we will be divided. While we blog our hearts out to defend our point of view, our duly elected are fundamentally changing our country and destroying our way of life. We have been distracted and fighting among ourselves instead of uniting on things that will make America strong and free. Just because your representative is red or blue or friendly or has name recognition or knows how to deal...that is no reason to vote for him/her. Really get to know the people that you vote for, not who they tell you they are. What is their history, their character, their record, their true vision? It is not easy to find the truth but it is our duty. The unflattering cartoon above is just that, an unflattering cartoon that will rally some and anger others thus diminishing the real message that America is in serious fiscal trouble.
12:41 pm on Monday, February 18, 2013
Back to real estate... It was mentioned correctly that the Community Reinvestment Act of the 70's under Carter, then made worse by Clinton and Bush had a large role in creating the problem, but there's more to the problem - Fannie Mae and Feeddie Mac. Did you know that they own 95% of all home mortgages? When you check your credit report, you'll see that the bank you pay every month is not the owner of your debt, they just are the pass through servicing company. You can regulate banks all you want so they will stop making risky loans, but when the federal government is there waiting to purchase any and every mortgage there is, 100% of the risk is removed from the bank. Why not make those loans? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fannie_Mae
4:02 pm on Monday, February 18, 2013
Is that the debt that bushCo ran up from the two unneeded wars he kept off America's books?
4:03 pm on Monday, February 18, 2013
Concerned...I did/do know that the mortgages are bought by quasi-governmental entities. It is at the very least a double edged sword. Without that safety net they provide, loans and particualrly mortgages would revert to extremely high downpayments which made home ownership prohibitively expensive to 'break into'. THAT was bad because landlords could take great advantage of tenants, who often dealt with slum conditions and had no recourse for it.
The rise of more home ownership certainly helped the growth of the middle class, and not having to put down 50-75% for a home made that possible.
Of course, as you mention, it went WAY too far during the boom and now we are all stuck with the shattered remnants of that collapse.
The initial CRA under Carter was somewhere between benign and harmless as far as fall out from it...the real harm came under the laws that gutted Glass-Steagal, which allowed banks to sell the loans and then allowed them to bundle them. Those were twin nails in the coffin of smart regulation that held back the stupidity which is now known as the housing bubble/collapse.
We put foxes in charge of the henhouse then acted like we were surprised the chickens were gone.

As we approach the new danger of the Egyptian or Mongolian brotherhood( a NEUTRON MUSHROOM CLOUD) according to Ammoland!
The 50,000 factories in BAINLAND China and the TPARTY financier Sheldon the Vice lord of Macau are demanding we increase the refined gas to Bainland because the Iranians are maxed out since Cheneys KBR are in some sort of limbo at the moment and their Kharg island holdings are operating less that 50%,
The Zionists and Bainland Mormons could care less if we pay $5-$6 a gal, it works better for them with so many empty TPARTY suits and Blue collars alike. The TPARTY are also ready to charge the OBAMA admin with failure to CREATE JOBS and BEING the major contributor to Global warming because the Glaciers will be gone along with coastline Florida.and Georgia- Ala and la.They also plan to add a rider on the climate change bill to subsidize Exxon -the sisters in drilling in the Arctic and build new refineries in Alaska for the gas guzzling BAINLANDERS who cannot take any more air pollution in their paradise.

Well, he didn't fund "No Child Left Behind", he didn't properly fund his extension to Medicare...he DID manage to fund to unneccesary wars and tax breaks that did nothing to help the middle class but made his 1% donor base (who he actually called that at a convention) even wealthier. Cheney's defense contractor friends got better off...Bush's Big Oil friends, including the Saudi royals and Bin Laden's family amde out pretty good...so what he REALLY is/was is a big spending Republican...unless somebody can prove to me that they didn't vote him in twice, they do not get to complain about him being liberal...let alone trying to distance themselves from the guy that all the GOPers 'wanted to have a beer with'...Congress is a disaster, and no matter who is president, from either party, they would be near powerless, because the Congress is gridlocked and needs to be thrown out altogether.

@Garry sure nuff why he is not prosecuting Dubya, Cheney as well as BANKSTERS is a puzzler?
2:03 pm on Tuesday, February 19, 2013
@Butch..He won't. If he does he outs himself as well. The banksters and those on Wall Street are his biggest supporters. I especially found it amusing during the '12 campaign; in New York he gave his blessing to the Occupy loons during the day, and held a 35K fundraiser for his Wall Street cronies at night. Barely a word in the LSM.
3:02 pm on Tuesday, February 19, 2013
Serious question for some of you: Assuming that the blame for the financial crisis and the national debt falls solely on George Bush and the Republican party, at what point does the current administration or any future administration own the responsibility for the nation's debt and economy?
3:42 pm on Tuesday, February 19, 2013
The current administration will never bear responsibility for the state of the economy or for anything negative for that matter. If the next administration is Democrat, George Bush still will be responsible for anything negative transpiring in that administration. And, if the next administration is Republican, it will be responsible for anything negative that has ever happened, including the weather.
3:52 pm on Tuesday, February 19, 2013
@ Art Huff-- when do the subsidy's to the CAYMAN ISLANDS CORP and the BAINLAND FACTORIES end? Now that Europe and the OBAMA admin are going to attempt to crack down on TAX avoiders in Europe when will the job creators create? When does the rewarding of BAIN transferring of HIGH TECH to his partners in Red China become a national security question? When does working for the IRANIAN GOVERNMENT become a crime is a good question that CHENEY and ROMNEY do not have to be accountable for,it's quid pro the sisters all have their little shares of the pie, in the long run when there are a bill in congress that is not about a woman's body or log cabin same sex married people or Ammo land aka bullets for Jews then we can say It's the economy and Glass Siegle stupid! Then it is the DEM and OBAMA responsibility!
7:30 pm on Tuesday, February 19, 2013
Art, it will be Bushs fault until the end of time.
10:47 pm on Tuesday, February 19, 2013
Art, about $6 trillion has gone to the war effort. That's a pretty big portion of the debt. Blame who you want for that. We were right on Afghanistan, wrong on Iraq. Without Iraq, maybe we get out of Afghanistan earlier and we're all better off.
3:12 pm on Saturday, February 23, 2013
Dave, I have no party affiliation but they're still blaming Reagan for planting crack in black neighborhoods in the 80's hence the "crack babies" taking over Lakeview today. It's all your fault. ;)
3:10 pm on Tuesday, February 19, 2013
Sequestration will prove many things Austerity will work like Reagan supply side it is extremely good for the Banksters, corrupt Pol's and cost twice as much as it does now to fix it after they wreck it just to get the Muslim, Kenyan, INDONESIAN Black guy. While making life and basic taken for granted things impossible along with 5-6 $ a gal for gas and blame OBAMA. The TPARTY- FOX- SHELDON kOCH LOBBYISTS will IMPLEMENT the Ryan austerity aka sequestration plan which is better for the scum because the dummy Dem;s will be blamed. It is even better than the coup they had in 80 with Reagan. Carter left office and raised the DOD spending 7% because of the failed rescue in the desert of the hostages (the movie Argo) then desert storms knocked out the choppers, under pressure by his Bankster - Zionist advisors POTUS CARTER increased the DOD budget 7%.
The incoming DOD boss and ADMIN budget DIRECTOR DAVID STOCKMAN then made it 7% more, a rise in 14% in peacetime( except for the Contras and the other Guerillla drug Smuggler insurgencies that GOP loved to fund) they also were the death squads or ROMNEY'S original BAIN INVESTORS.
The Dem's premature celebrations a short time ago and the betrayal by the MORMON HARRY REID who has the leadership of a ostrich and the betrayal of the Zionist Carl Levin and the Jewess Princess Feinstein on the filibuster rules of the Senate will stain the legacy of POTUS no matter how they spin it but the brain dead Dem voters will never know! .
3:23 pm on Tuesday, February 19, 2013
@Garry no argument, he is a DEMOPUB a centrist GOP, that's why he had two banksters and a Illinois GOP POL in his cabinet, BUSH was in his YUTE a deserter, boozer, druggie who swindled a lot of people including the st of Texas in subsidizing his hobby and became by default Cheney's Charlie McCarthy,
Robme is a tool of the banksters, Zionists the link is SHELDON and the Red Army who are his business partners in the OFF SHORE DRILLING CORP now in IRAN who by the way are also partners of a sort with KBR-HELLIBURTON, AND SOME SAY both of these guys are breaking the law, how bout u?
8:42 pm on Tuesday, February 19, 2013
@ Kerry have u ever tried hard as a student or because u are unable to comprehend wasting yer little mind on nothingness and expecting trickle down to produce the magic prosperity that rises all Boats? Because u are oblivious to your own ignorance like the Titanic sailing into the North Atlantic u are a deck hand taking orders from the Captain or like Bush also oblivious to his silver spoon and skull and bones upbringing, neither u nor Bush care nor are concerned there are not enough life boats or floatation devices for the middle and underclass in steerage? But Bush and Cheney will get a seat because Cheney will be in drag as the godfather of the log cabins and Bush be his Maid.
8:58 pm on Tuesday, February 19, 2013
Butch, its obvious you never set foot in a school.
9:13 pm on Tuesday, February 19, 2013
That's my point! no comprehension! can u give us more than a half dozen word reply?
12:45 am on Wednesday, February 20, 2013
@Arthur - Agreed. @Butch.. Obama a GOP centrist? You aren't 'center' if you spend 5 trillion in under four years, especially on something as ridiculous as his failed stimulus. Washington Post: ""Obama, by all accounts, was a habitual drug user in high school. He tried cocaine, he admits in "Dreams From My Father"; he “tried drugs enthusiastically.” The Chicago Tribune reported back in 2007 that Obama thanked the “Choom Gang” in his high school yearbook; “chooming” was Hawaiian slang for smoking pot. The Honolulu Advertiser reported that Obama’s senior portrait “prominently displayed … A package of ‘Zig-Zag’ rolling papers and a matchbook.” One of Obama’s close friends was arrested for drug possession during high school.
In his memoir, Obama talked about routinely getting high. “Junkie. Pothead,” he wrote.""
Why does Barry get a pass?
7:38 am on Wednesday, February 20, 2013
Garry, none of that has anything to do with today and his ability to do his job. You never had any youthful indiscretions? Never tried any drugs, drank underage, nothing? I'm not advocating any of it but I know plenty of people who did all those things in high school and through college. All are successful, productive members of our society.
7:49 am on Wednesday, February 20, 2013
The "failed stimulus"? Do you mean the TARP program that President Bush started and President Obama continued? The Dow was in the 7200 range on Inaugeration Day in 2009, it closed at 14,036 yesterday. Isn't that a pretty good economic indicator? Yes growth is slow and the unemployment rate is still too high, but that is indicative of any economic dowturned tied to a bank failure, which is what occured.
1:59 am on Wednesday, February 20, 2013
Why does everybody keep getting angry and responding to this knucklehead? It's like the itch in the center of your back that you just can't reach. Ignore it and it will go away.
8:23 am on Wednesday, February 20, 2013
@Bob L don't be angry scratch with a fly swatter, sorry as long as there are revisionists like Garry and no minds like Kerry I will be there! Could care less if they or u respond or not but u all will read it right? That's what counts, the truth will set u free!
12:27 pm on Wednesday, February 20, 2013
Who said I was speaking of you?
1:13 pm on Wednesday, February 20, 2013
sorry u outed me, that's what my wife's calls me
7:16 am on Wednesday, February 20, 2013
Just sit back and watch the economic devastation that hits next year with Obamacare..watch and see what families do then to feed their families how many part time jobs people will take to make their mortgage..Its going to be a nightmare
8:17 am on Wednesday, February 20, 2013
U see Kerry-JAX comprehends it! It is the plan stupid!
8:16 am on Wednesday, February 20, 2013
@Garry I bet all your HS friends went on to become outstanding bully pulpit Ministers and later predators and or national Guard Pilots who also walked away from their wrecked F101 or piper cubs? And did this follow the skull-bones years of intense economics destruction? Now Cheney who was a Divinity student in log cabin -let my people go Theology where he met his fellow DRAFT DODGERS future experts in waging wars and allies and Rabbi's of Ammoland with a scattering of Bible thumpers from Dixie.
Now Gar if Drugs were LEGAL and not what made the Busheviks and a lot of other old and new money alike rich, the phony Gated TPARTY- GOP and ghetto pot heads would be concerned IF IT IS OR NOT a pot head that is cutting taxes for runaway off shore job creators and putting the Wars and prescriptions on the RED ARMY credit card!
If people and the Media did pay attention how would the Media energy summit in the pre invasion of Iraq and the Hindu KUSH get under the radar? Now we have golf gate and still no mention of how Cheney divied up the spoils of the rich Oil-Gas region with the seven sisters and Tex-Okkie and Wyo rangers and pioneers! The secret that the Media allowed the ROBOT MAN to smirk about rather than answering is and was why the BUSH PRESIDENCY is was and will continue to be cause of the depression debt deficits and climate change!
8:32 am on Wednesday, February 20, 2013
Jax knows how to write and make sense, you dont.
I agree with Jax. Butch ,if you only learned how to write maybe someone could understand you.
10:07 am on Wednesday, February 20, 2013
@Kerry- jax nor any of u wingnuts do not admit to understanding me, HE admits to comprehending the plan of Boner and Chinless the leaders in Congress to destroy the American economy on behalf of BAINLAND CHINA and the Murkan TPARTY of Eretz Yisrael, to be an American is to human, to be an Murkan or Bushevik which now seems to be a dirty word as if he was never voted in by the Zombies and Die Bold voting machines which registered every other Dem in OHIO as GOP MURKAN. KERRY a news flash no-one cares really but hypocrite TPARTY morons if u are gay just come out and try to be civil, it works for the Cheneys even if they are not civil or human and have problems with lie detector machines.
6:31 pm on Wednesday, February 20, 2013
@Kerry, Garry understood and now he is going back home to register to vote in the Caymans( for the Illinois and Florida primary) get some sun and new marching orders for his revisionist postings, when you grow up and come out u will comprehend it better!
8:45 am on Wednesday, February 20, 2013
Just responding to the 'goose & gander' mentality that exists today. Beat the hell out of W, and give BO a pass. They both had substance abuse issues; lets not be hypocritical. It's commonplace to look the other way when this president screws up, which was largely shown with his "do over" in 2012. In '08, he was the 'only candidate' that could fix this debacle - he made things worse.. Nothing revisionist about that. What is revised is folks forget all this crap started to happen in '06 when dems took over congress - a slight oversight. He spent a trillion and said unemployment would plummet to under 8%. It didn't. It stayed the same. Every president since Nixon has been blamed for high gas prices - though not this one...it's still Bush & Cheney's fault. If the "BUSH PRESIDENCY is was and will continue to be cause of the depression debt deficits", then your guy in the white house has certain failed; he is most definitely an ineffectual leader, though nobody has to dig to see that.
Fella's, I'm done with this round and round banter. Barry has made nothing better since '08, and 52% of Americans chose to give him another chance. Be happy with that. And yes, just wait till Obamacare kicks in.. I'll see you here after that. Ciao.
9:22 am on Wednesday, February 20, 2013
Wrong all over the place Garry... But good try...
5:21 pm on Wednesday, February 20, 2013
3:37 pm on Friday, February 22, 2013
I don't want to go into most of what you said, but I will agree with you one thing..sort of. Call it typical media bias, or the media's love affair with Obama, or whatever you want, but if there's one thing I noticed lately it's that these $4.00/gallon gas prices don't seem to be as big of a deal as they were when Bush was president. I haven't taken the time to compare the number of headlines now to the number of headlines then. This is just my personal opinion from what I've observed.
10:11 am on Wednesday, February 20, 2013
@Garry bet yer around after sequestration and austerity kick in u can't resist blaming BO for the cost of gas while the XL makes plans to send more of it to BAINLAND CHINA
4:25 pm on Friday, February 22, 2013
@Arthur Huff-- yer observations are right on target! The high prices per gal reinforces the need to keep subsidizing EXXON and the sisters and to drill baby drill for more gas exports to BAINLAND CHINA, as far as headlines cars are not killing as many these days as they did in the past! is that what u mean?
5:38 pm on Wednesday, February 20, 2013
@Kerry what are u going to do now that yer secretary is taking a couple of days off in the Cayman islands! Why don't u go with him, noone will mis yer 2 words of wisdom from the TPARTY!
1:22 pm on Thursday, February 21, 2013
@KERRY, the next Cartoon is not due till next week is that all u have for a contribution? That sums it all up the problem for the Murkans is there are no longer enough comics to teach them how to be articulate as writers and even speakers!
Articulate Kerry is easily found in any Dictionary inside and out of MURKA!
Murka is where the MURKANS live in hillbilly and GATED enclaves in some regions they have white robed Guards and Hoods with a Burning cross, Murkans live among TPARTY-GOP NEO CONS and others who were duped into voting for BUSH-CHENEY the log cabin party!
DUPED is being led to the Die Bold machine and pressing straight REP!
Straight REPUBLICAN is a contagious disease that infects the limbic system
( memory and emotional problems) as well as ability to read comic books and cartoons.
Some Americans in 04 Ohio were victimized by MURKAN election officials who switched their DEM vote to MURKAN by rigging the voting machine!
Comic Books are the GOP version of economics.
Economics was a term used before the POTUS with Alzheimer's changed it to supply side!
Alzheimer is one of the worst diseases afflicting ALL America both who are forced to live in a world that a TPARTY GOP decision maker has decided while in early stages of the disease such as Reagan and Demetia Domenici and a host of other GOP Senators.
1:44 pm on Thursday, February 21, 2013
Kerry is waiting for a good KKK cartoon... Make him feel rigt at home..
2:28 pm on Friday, February 22, 2013
@David H--yer misinformation on union wages is only true if u compare Filipino electricians to 134 IBEW and RISK being electrocuted in our showers, or some 4th world Plumbers who will work for the Filipino wages but cannot insure the sewers do not back up into our bathrooms and the rats do not likewise..
If u were an objective writer on the subject u would write of the workers in the 50,000 factories who have never nor would ever make anything near what u cite, and would use data that includes wages- inflation underemployment -unemployment and job creation in and transferring of HIGH TECH( senata) type jobs in COMMUNIST BAINLAND!
The non union workers making sensors at Seanta have never been part of the TPARTY misinformation narratives nor have union HIGH TECH jobs being transferred to the RED ARMY. ANY serious discussion would jeopardize and make the TPARTY treason easy for the low information KERRY and company KOOL AID drinkers to comprehend. The plan is why do it, keep the subsidy to BAIN and other traitors subsidies, rebates ongoing it is the equivalent of forcing the Koch's and Rothschild to pay taxes or eliminate the Fed Res!
3:04 pm on Friday, February 22, 2013
I am so sorry Butch, I did not know that you meet with more than 80 businesses on an ongoing basis with a mix of union and non-union companies. I really did not understand that you deal with real numbers everyday of you career and that you have the TRUE information that is out there. I didnot realize that you own your own company that employs people and you report to the various government agencies all the taxes, licenses, and other miscellaneous fees. I am sorry for being so stupid and uneducated of all the subjects I talk about and would like for you to enlighten me on the vast experience you possess. Maybe someday I will get past the education, upbring, work ethic, and family values and come to your level of understanding of things. Thank you for being you, if often helps me make my points.
3:34 pm on Friday, February 22, 2013
Dave are u writing for Bain factories who do not factor into your expertise or presentation or the the electrical contrators and Plumbing Council?
@kERRY take a TYLENOL and a nap for a month until Garry returns!
4:10 pm on Friday, February 22, 2013

4:19 pm on Friday, February 22, 2013
@Link it was more like he was trying to actually write more than 3 words and then deleted it before we can all read it!
How bout u do u write?
11:54 pm on Friday, February 22, 2013
Thank the lord the toxicity is not fatal I would quit the booze though! Is Garry back yer up to 4 syllables! Say something ABOUT YER LOG CABIN MEMBERSHIP S so we know u are not VERA!
11:56 pm on Friday, February 22, 2013
Kerry , Laird and his pooch are waiting for yer words of wisdom on the cartoon page!
12:56 am on Saturday, February 23, 2013
butchie baby, I don't know why ya drug me back into this, but kiss my right wing (deleted) AND SHUT UP. We have had enough of your blathering. We post some opinions, have some fun, but you and a few others just get GOOFEY. I can't believe they're letting your rants continue.
1:09 am on Saturday, February 23, 2013
P.S. Butchie, when I am able to retire I'm going to get a pooch, and I bet he'll be able to carry on a more intelligent conversation than you. Even as a puppy. WOOF.
7:53 am on Saturday, February 23, 2013
Butch, my guess is that you are not going to honor me with all your accolades. That's okay; you do not have to know what you are talking about. You just need to be passionate about it. Also you caught me; I am a Bain factory executive that is watching the patch to find my next set of victims.
11:16 am on Saturday, February 23, 2013
Go to Texas and take all of the refinery's to Bainland they are dying from the smoke now anyhow! We can clean the air in Salt Lake and Idaho so the TPARTY can see or national parks and the Mormons can find all their wives! ADIOS!
7:59 am on Saturday, February 23, 2013
@laird I'm having fun,I can always tell u really care when u all call me "Butchie Boy" too bad u took too much Tylenol in yer wasted life! At least a simple simon like Kerry with a limited vocabulary has stretched his limitations and can use four letter words without be profane and for that he-she should be readmitted to 6th grade summer school,(and we can assume that is what u told Aunt Sally about yer backside and why u are out of her will) .As for" shutting up" we and the greatest generations of WWI-II -_II up and my hero Al Gore did not go to war so Neo Fascists and Neo Con DRAFT DODGERS can abuse the WEB in the same way BAIN clear channel does the airways spreading their ideology of fear, hate, disinformation, misinformation, lies distortions and citing other Nazi's with the same aims as their sources, take another drink of yer cheap Scotch and learn a lot and not from discredited TPARTY MURKANSi.
8:24 am on Saturday, February 23, 2013
Butch, you sound like the hate-filled liberals on MSNBC. Incapable of having a rational conversation without the name calling and middle school banter. I won't spar with you and your ilk.. It's boring and frustrating, like arguing with children.
10:46 am on Saturday, February 23, 2013
Well said, Garry.
11:11 am on Saturday, February 23, 2013
@ Garry --i would have preferred Current at times or Thom Hartman all the time but Ed Schultz and Rachel are dependable and accurate, and what have u learned from the conservative revisionist historian BIll O? Did the south win the civil war? Or Turd Blossom the man who blew it on election night after hearing that anonymous had PATCHED his OHIO Die Bold machines rendering the repeat of stealing the election in this case as it turned out just Ohio as in 04 kaput!
U certainly can learn about the administrations War on the middle class that will cease to exist in another GIPPER- BUSHEVIK or ROBME administration or against the Kenyans war ag Roundtable exec's women who live in gated houses and why the same MUSLIM KENYAN hates Jews while getting 65% of their vote even if he is not a Zionist!
That is the job of bipart smuggy Sean to explain to the low info T PARTY-NEO-CON-LOG CABIN Charlatan Christians,RC PREDATOR Archbishops financial advisors, Zionist Rabbi -hillbilly oxy cotin coalition led by a guy with magic drawers who is a partner of death squads and the COMMUNIST CHINESE!
The question is does anyone of these deep thinkers have a IQ ABOVE sub normal? Too bad hoped u can clear all this up for me! Almost forgot about the toe sucker DICK MORRIS taking his useless mind to Newsmax where other 6-8 th grade mentals are putting out supply side templates for the 4th grade readers! Thanks and don't take TYLENOL?
12:52 pm on Saturday, February 23, 2013
I'll promise not to take Tylenol, if you promise to take a Xanax. My lord, Butch! Did you take advantage of the sale on Cuervo at Binnys? It's like one massive vowel movement here.. Your hieroglyphics make my teeth hurt.
1:16 pm on Saturday, February 23, 2013
And it is a security upgrade ON my Tigris cuneiform from being hacked by the boys from Macau! Where's Binny's?
Are yer bicuspids made of wood? A lot of Russians and Eurasians have this problem! Where do u live a good western oral hygienists can treat this?
maybe Kerry has the same problem and is affecting his limbic region?
1:38 pm on Saturday, February 23, 2013
Now Butch, that was funny!!
3:18 pm on Saturday, February 23, 2013
Kerry, that could describe anyone on the lakefront from the Gold Coast to the gay beach. They've got granite countertops and stainless steel appliances though. That's all that matters. Oh, and those bedbugs? You just buy new shiny surfaces with your 3rd mortgage......or form a "charity".
4:23 pm on Saturday, February 23, 2013
@ truth are u inferring i AM a LOG CABIN deviate? never voted GOP in me life and have no plans to do so and speaking of Gays, there is a new poll on the new POPE, Archbishop O`Malley of Boston is the front runner but I would like to summit Cheney's offspring no matter the gender since he -she were born by two mom's or immaculate conception! watta ya think or can u?
TRYING very hard to write or print on Kerry's level and u also since u know those gay beaches u must have a front seat view, the meat of the problem sorta, Are u the A TEAM, is that all there is?
6:52 pm on Saturday, February 23, 2013
Are you $ 5 trillion better off than you were before Obama piled that amount of debt on your family's back, in order to further enrich his favored cronies and buy their votes? They got your money's worth.
7:31 pm on Saturday, February 23, 2013
@Nick were the cronies Log cabiners aka GAY REPUBLICANS like Kerry and Truth of the gay beach gold coast with friggin BEDBUGS ?Now they have me confused, I thought the only gay blade GOP were TV EVANGELICAL preachers!
11:30 am on Sunday, February 24, 2013
Nick it is so hard to put into words that is comprehend-able to the commons and the Murkan anti commons aka TPARTY on the figure u cite. In 1980 the Alzheimer POTUS aka 666 Ron Reagan's Dept-Def (DOD) siphoned off what would be comparable to the amount mentioned or double what Jimmy carter had budgeted in increased spending, this 14% increase in DEF spending has continued and ongoing by 41-CLINTON-43 and will cease to a realistic figure thanks to the Ryan sequestation but it will come out of the hide of warriors general welfare and care, while the TPARTY mercenaries have already looted enough for their Cayman island retirement will survive quite well. The question is how does a UNDERPERFORER such as u with NO expertise in Pentagon numbers crunching, license requirements, tax law etc and the necessary work ethic come up with this mythic number? Is it something Kerry said" on supply side working if left alone" or some other TPARTY original thought such as TPARTY women can give immaculate conceptions?
