Here's a couple of court cases St. Charles Patch is following.
Koch trial to go ahead in March
After failing in an attempt to have her statements to police thrown out, Cathleen Koch is now scheduled to go to trial in March on charges related to the 2010 beating of her daughter in a St. Charles motel.
Koch's reported boyfriend, James Cooper, is charged causing severe injuries to the young girl, while Koch is accused of lying to police investigating the case. She had attempted to have her statements suppressed, but a judge denied that request last week after several hearings. Cooper is now trying to have his comments to police suppressed, and is due for a Dec. 1 hearing.

Flasher lands prison sentence
A Rockford man has been sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to exposing his genitalia to patrons of a gym, and touching another man with it. Lawrence Adamczyk recently admitted to an aggravated battery in a public place charge related to the June 28 incident at X-Sport Fitness on Randall Road.
Prosecutors dropped two other counts as part of the plea. Prosecutors said Adamczyk will receive 95 days credit toward the prison time and that he has a previous conviction for a similar offense in Winnebago County.
