POLICE: 2 People Shot in Home Invasion Near Route 25 and Butterfield

A home invasion and shooting occurred in the area Tuesday morning, police said. Here are the suspect descriptions.

 

UPDATE: Police released more information about the two people shot (includes photos from crime scene).

Police searched Tuesday morning for two shooting suspects in North Aurora.

Two people were shot during a home invasion on the 100 block of South River Road—Route 25, one block south of Butterfield Road near the Fox River—sometime before 8 a.m., according to an alert message from North Aurora police. Condition reports on the people shot were not immediately available.

The suspects are described as two Hispanic men, each about 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 150 to 170 pounds. The type of clothing worn is unknown at this time.

Police have no reason to think they are still in the area at this time. If anyone has any information about this incident, please call North Aurora police detectives at 630-897-8705.
