More Scrooge Reports: Holiday Decorations Stolen From Geneva Stores

Police reports show two incidents of theft of holiday decorations from downtown Geneva merchants.

 

Last week's reports revealed the first of the season's Scrooge-like incidents in the form of cut holiday light cords.

This week's "bah humbug" has to do with thefts from downtown Geneva merchants.

Theft Under $500—Someone took the outside planter containing holiday decorations from Cocoa Bean, 11 South Seventh St., sometime between 6 p.m. Nov. 25 and 11 a.m. Nov. 27, reports said. The planter and decorations were valued at $70.

Theft Under $500—Someone took two silver, 24-inch Christmas wreaths from the front entrance door of Artemesia, 101 S. Third St., sometime between 5:30 p.m. Nov. 27 and 9:30 a.m. Nov. 28, reports said. The wreaths were valued at $119.
