Kiss the Sky's Last Day in Geneva Is June 30

Kiss the Sky's last Day in Geneva is June 30. First day in Batavia is July 3.

When Kiss the Sky moved to Geneva's high-profile corner of State and Third, it was hailed as a coup for the city.

Now Batavia has bragging rights for the record store that's considered a destination for vinyl afficionados.

The store's last day in Geneva is June 30. It opens on July 3 at its new location in Batavia, at 180 W. First St.

"Although the move is somewhat bittersweet, we're looking forward to venturing out into new territories, while heading back to where it all began, so to speak," an e-mail press release said Friday. "Our stay in Geneva has been wonderful. The city officials have been fantastic, and the residents have been very supportive. Thank you, Geneva, for taking us into your town and making us feel right at home."
