Calling all dads!

The Geneva Park District invites you to celebrate Valentine’s Day with your daughters at the Geneva Park District Just Dad n’ Me Dance on Sunday, Feb. 13.

I've done this with both my daughters, and it has been memorable. It's not long before their grown up and don't necessarily want to hang out with dad, so enjoy it while you can.

The dance is for fathers and their daughters from age 3 to sixth grade.

There's dancing, entertainment and snacks. All couples receive a keepsake photograph. The dance takes place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 13, at the Geneva High School gymnasium, and the cost is $10 per person. (Dads can take more than one daughter.)

Doors open at 5 p.m. for check-in and pictures.
