It's True! Jenny McCarthy DOES Live in Geneva!
Jenny talks about wardrobe malfunctions and gives a shout-out to Geneva on the "Rachael Ray Show."
We've been wondering for a long time whether Jenny McCarthy was putting down roots in Geneva, and proof positive came March 8 on the Rachael Ray Show.
Jenny talked about The Jenny McCarthy Show on VH1 and wardrobe malfunctions she's had at the Vanity Fair party after the Oscars and in her first appearance in a WWE event, but then the talk turned to her move to back to the Chicago area, and her son, Evan.
Rachael asked about shopping and food in Chicago, and that's when "Geneva news" popped out like a happy wardrobe malfunction.
"I live in Geneva, which is like a little historical district," she said. "So there’s no big stores. All the stores are inside of houses—little old houses, so I buy everything from there. It’s great."
It is, indeed. Evan seems to love it, too.
"We moved back almost a year ago now, and he said to me the best thing we ever did was move back to Chicago," Jenny said. "He’s got so many friends there. He's got his posse. ... He loves it so much."
Geneva has it all over LA, too.
"He's not being raised by nannies. He’s getting raised by me and my family and my best friend," Jenny said.
Evan is turning 11 in May. (Happy birthday!) "He’s requesting an ice cream truck, a slide, petting zoo, of course, and donkeys, and I'm like, 'who's paying for this?' " Jenny said.
You can watch the full Rachael Ray segment here.
We hope Jenny doesn't mind the cat out of the bag regarding Geneva residence, but from what she said on Rachael Ray, it all seems to be working well for her and Evan.
"I don’t take myself too seriously, anyway," she said about the wardrobe malfunctions. "So, if it happens, it happens. I’ll show you the cellulite, I don’t really care. I don’t get embarrassed too easily."

I think it was a lot of free advertising for the small businesses and the city in general and that's always good! Plus, my brother had occasion to socialize with her and said she was very nice. That is what I like to hear.

It's always nice to the perspective of someone who chooses to move to Geneva and appreciates the unique charm of our historic district. Too often those of us who have lived here awhile tend to take what we have for granted. Sometimes it helps to be reminded just what downtown Geneva is really all about.

Geneva is quaint and charming, that is true... but for her to say we have no big stores is crazy talk...drive up and down Randall Road Jenny!

So if you sell pictures of yourself naked then let parts of your body flop out a little in public you are worthy and sought out to endorse your new found community? Personally I would rather hear from and about the hundreds of people who quietly volunteer to make Geneva a great place to live.

Exactly, Jim. Why would any Genevan appreciate her as a "spokesperson" for their city? I've seen her interviews......she has a very dirty mouth.

The use of profanity is less offensive than the use language that criticizes others, IMHO. Jenny did not ask to be spokesperson.for the city, She simply complimented the place she chose to live. Jim and Carrie, on the other hand, apparently feel that they get some say-so as to who lives in 'their' town, and they apparently also believe that they have the right to set the morals for Geneva too..

You assumed I was talking about profanity, Donald. Perhaps you should enlighten yourself before defending her, but let me clarify. I'm talking about her openly speaking of sexual activities she does and how she does them and that she's so h**ny all the time and she can't help it............as for me, I can't respect someone like that.
BTW, it's hypocritical of you to criticize Jim and me, IMHO. Doesn't bother me, just thought it was interesting.

I find it sad just how quickly some of these discussions devolve into us taking shots at each other. Why does it seem so difficult for us to be a bit more civil and polite?

I agree Colin. I can also answer your question/comment: it's very easy when one sits behind there computer making comments versus saying something face to face. Indeed, it is something mony of us are guilty of doing. Wouldn't you agree?
As for Jenny Mac, exposed body parts not withstanding, well she likes Geneva and thinks it's a good place to raise her son. Nothing wrong with that. I would be upset if she complained that she lives in a crappy little two-bit town of small minds. She does have a public persona, so I suppose her using foul language is more apparent that many Genevans who do the same. As for taking shots at the Patch, if you're endeavoring to say something clever, I understand. If you really dislike Patch, why continue to subscribe? Me? I like to hear of news in Geneva that doesn't get covered otherwise or does much, much later. Besides, Patch has the excellent Rick Nagel and that chowderhead J. Ward.

Storm, I always sign my name and never hide behind a keyboard. It was a satiracal shot at the patch. I welcome Jenny Mac to Geneva and hope she joins the PTO,

BTW, I completely disagree with Jenny Mac's belief in autism being caused by vaccines.
Hmm. did I open a can of worms?
