Here's the Police Report on the Oct. 19 Accident with Injuries at Randall and Kaneville

The following information was supplied by the Geneva Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The front of a Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Beth Johnson, 39, of Bartlett collided with the front of a Ford Taurus driven by James Strachan, 49, of St. Charles around 11:55 a.m. Oct. 19, at the intersection of South Randall Road and Kaneville Road, Geneva police reports said.

More than $1,500 damage was done to any one vehicle and both drivers were taken to Delnor Hospital, according to reports.

Johnson’s Tahoe was traveling south in the 300 block of South Randall Road and Strachan’s Taurus of travelling north on Randall, reports said. When the Taurus entered the intersection, Johnson’s Tahoe failed to yield while turning left, and the two vehicles collided. Two witnesses told police the light was green when the Taurus entered the intersection.

Johnson was ticketed for failure to yield turning left and has a court date of Nov. 15, reports said.
