Geneva's Knop Commits to Valpo

Senior swimmer signs letter of intent to join Crusaders squad

Geneva High School’s Lauren Knop became the latest athlete to commit to collegiate sports when she signed a national letter of intent to swim for Valparaiso University on Tuesday. The senior will major in Mathematics and compete in the fly, back and free events for the Crusaders and head coach Howard Hunte. Valparaiso is a member of the NCAA Division I Horizon League.

Go Lauren! I remember you from River Rats! You are such an inspiration to all swimmers at Geneva, who without a school pool have continued to excel. Awesome Achievement! Kudos to your parents as well.
