Nov. 2: Geneva police arrested Robert Lyons, 21, of Geneva on charges of driving under the influence, DUI with a blood-alcohol level of more than .08, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at around 3:45 a.m. in a parking lot in the 1800 block of South Randall Road, reports said. According to the complaint in the 16^th Circuit Court, Lyons had a blue glass smoking pipe and less than 2.5 grams of a substance containing cannabis. He has a court date of Nov. 21 at the Kane County Judicial Center, 37W777 Route 38, St. Charles.

Nov. 5: Michael L. Mancini, 22, of the 3N700 block of Herman Melville Lane, was charged at 12:25 a.m. at South Tyler and North Tyler Road with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol content greater than .08, and driving without a windshield cleaning device. Mancini’s blood-alcohol content was not listed in the report. He was released on his own recognizance after posting his driver’s license pending a Dec. 6 court appearance.

Nov. 4: Edward T. Gabel, 23, of the 5N700 block of Arboretum Lane, was charged at 12:09 a.m. in the 1600 block of East Main Street with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol content greater than .08, and improper lane use. Police said his blood-alcohol content was .198. He was released on his own recognizance after posting his driver’s license pending a Dec. 6 court appearance.

Nov. 3: Jack Hoyt King, 60, of the 6N500 block of Promontory, was charged at 12:23 a.m. in the 99 block of North 3^rd Street with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol content greater than .08, and improper lane use after a car struck a utility pole. Police said the driver was King and that his blood-alcohol content later registered at .129. He posted his driver’s license and $100 cash bond and was released pending a court appearance.
