Distracted Driver Leads to Collision on Fabyan Parkway

Police reports: Driver is reading directions when her vehicle rear-ends another on Fabyan Parkway.

The front of a Chevrolet Cavalier driven by Leslie Marshall, 56, of Geneva collided with the rear of a Lincoln LS driven by Deborah Palazzo of St. Charles around 7:52 a.m. March 31 in the 1400 East Fabyan Parkway near South Kirk Road, reports said.

More than $1,500 damage was done to any one person’s vehicle.

According to reports, Palazzo’s Lincoln LS was stopped in traffic facing east on East Fabyan Parkway when it was rear-ended by Marshall’s Cavalier. Marshall said she was reading directions at the time of the crash and was issued a warning for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
