Batavia Man Cited for Hitting Victim With 'Partially Full' Beer Bottle

Geneva police cited Thomas Grimston, 21, of Batavia for battery and public intoxication after an altercation at around 1:59 a.m. Oct. 13 on the sidewalk in the 200 block of West State Street, reports said.

According to reports, Grimston struck the victim in the head with a “12-ounce glass beer bottle partially full with beer.”

Grimston was cited under local ordinances and is subject to $50 fines for each offense if paid by the due date.
