An accident, possibly with injuries, at or near State and Bennett at around 2:15 p.m. Tuesday slowed but didn't stop traffic through downtown Geneva.

As of around 2:25 p.m., a tow truck had arrived. Ambulances and a fire truck reported to the scene, and police were directing traffic going east and west on State Street. The westbound lane of State Street was closed, but police were able to use the turn lane to keep westbound traffic moving.
