Marion Grace Terry, 85, died on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Provena McCalley Mannor in Aurora, IL.
She was born on June 29, 1925, in Milwaukee WI, and lived in Madison WI and Geneva IL. She was the daughter of Edgar and Matilda "Pieper" Hafemeister.
Marion helped in accounting and in the back office of the Hafemeister Shoe Store on 3rd Street in Milwaukee. She married James Terry in 1949. Marion worked in the engineering Dept of Globe Union Battery Company. Upon moving to Madison, she worked for the University of WI School of Education.
She is survived by her son Robert, (Michelle) Terry; two grand-children Alexandra and Victoria of Geneva, a sister-in-law, Nanny Cart, of Paris Crossing, IN, and nieces, Peggy Lynch (nee Cart), Thelma Bonesteel and Grace Sorrell also of IN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Terry.
Visitation will be held from 2-7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10, at Yurs Funeral Home, 1771 W. State St., followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Gavin Finefield officiating. Burial will be 11:45 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, 6400 W. Burleigh St., Milwaukee, WI 53210.
