Looking back, it was such a blessing that my son Patrick had Mrs.Petrou as a teacher for first grade. She was a truly gifted teacher. My thoughts are with her boys. She bragged about them all of the time! - Anne Cesarone

I remember being at Ann's "retirement" last year at HES and feeling so overwhelmed by the love in the school and the love that Ann had for her peers. May you be at peace and your family as well.

I was honored to have two of my sons in Ms. Petrou's class. Her work will not be forgotten. Her influence went way beyond the four walls of her classroom and my kids still talk about her. She was an amazing teacher. Rest in peace.
