National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month

Illinois death rate from Colon Cancer is 8 to 9 deaths per day.

             These deaths are AVOIDABLE.

Then why do these deaths go on.

50% of people have not availed of Colon Cancer Screening, paid by all insurers .I have heard of many excuses.

          1) It is painful  -"Not true" with Painless Colonoscopy

           2) Drinking yucky stuff-" true " you have to clean your Colon for doctor to see clearly hidden polyps-source of cancer.

           3) I have no family history--False--Dr.OZ had no family history.

          4)I feel fine,eat well,exercise daily,not overweight--Dr.OZ is in great shape-but still had cancerous polyp.

          5) Recommended age is 50 or over. "True"--but if you have family history-get it done early.I saw a woman at age 35.

I plead with you-go for Colon Cancer screening.

DO you realize our pain-in informing people-Sorry-too late-your Colon Cancer is in late stage.
