Nov. 16, 2012 (Geneva, IL) Marklund's Top Hat Ball may be months away, but the non-profit organization is now holding Ebay auctions for two special auction items that will make perfect Christmas gifts: a chance to host a grand Superbowl party or enjoy a memorable vacation at Myrtle Beach!
“Traditionally all of our auction items are available for bid at our Top Hat Ball gala held each February in Chicago,” explained Jeannine Zupo, director of special events at Marklund. “However, we were fortunate enough to acquire these special prizes that need to be purchased before this year’s Top Hat Ball, which will be held on Feb. 2. Ebay seemed to be the best way to hold the auctions at this time.”
Proceeds from the two packages, like all funds raised through the Top Hat Ball, will support Marklund, a nonprofit organization that serves individuals with severe and profound developmental disabilities. The auctions will run through Nov. 25, and include the following prizes
HOST A PRIVATE SUPERBOWL PARTY PRESIDENTIAL-SUITE STYLE
• Two tickets to Marklund's Top Hat Ball on Saturday, Feb. 2, at Marriott Downtown
• Presidential Suite at Marriott Downtown Mag Mile for Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 2 and 3-- this suite is exclusive and not available to the general public
• Lunch and reservations for 12 at Heaven on Seven downtown on Sunday, Feb.3, at 12:30 p.m.
• In-suite Super Bowl Party for 12 including all food and liquor on Sunday, Feb. 3.
